As the name implies, this duo occupies the space between genres, moving fluidly from blues to jazz and adding a dash of swing and country to round out their sound. Featuring Mike Shoemaker playing lead guitar and vocals, with Rhonda Shippy holding down the low end on upright bass. These musicians have been playing in the Bow Valley for a number of years and decided to take their music to the public with this versatile duo. From climbing buddies to band mates, their tasteful, unique sound will have you tapping your feet.

Popping down to the pub on a Friday evening to see friends & neighbours is a centuries-old tradition. We’re doing our part to keep it up with our Community Fridays.

Every Friday throughout the winter - from November through April - we host local singers/songwriters & small acoustic bands. The vibe is relaxed & very casual. The music seamlessly blends into the sound of the taproom and adds an element of warmth & community. It’s a perfect way to spend a winter’s evening.
